The Degree in Business Administration and Management explores the way in which the companies acquire and use the resources which are in their disposal, in order to achieve particular goals and objectives. Therefore, it handles the way in which the resources, processes and results from their activities are managed.
Business Administration and Management’s Degree seeks the formation of professionals, who can be able to accomplish management works and counselling in public and private organizations. These works can be developed in the global sphere from the organization or any of its application areas: production, human resources, financing, marketing, investment, administration or accounting.
Taking into account the peculiarity of the different functional areas of organizations, the graduate should gain the knowledge needed in order to manage and organization at a global scale. Specifically, he or she should know how to identify and anticipate opportunities, assign resources, organize information, select and inspire people, make decisions, reach the proposed targets and evaluate results.

Tienen preferencia para iniciar estudios de Administración y Dirección de Empresas aquellos alumnos que superaron las pruebas de acceso con las vías de acceso del bachillerato LOGSE número 1 (Científico-Tecnológica), 2 (Ciencias de la Salud) y 4 (Ciencias Sociales).
Dado que no existen otros requisitos formativos previos esigibles, sería deseable que el futuro estudiante del Grado en ADE poseyera las siguientes características personales y académicas:

1.- El alumnado de primer curso por primera vez a tiempo completo tienen que matricular 60 créditos. Un 15% del alumnado podrá cursar estudios a tiempo parcial (30 créditos).
2.- Continuación de estudios: libre con un máximo de 75 créditos
La tutorización de los estudiantes universitarios es uno de los compromisos de los estudios de Grado dentro del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior (EEES). Consiste en varias actividades, colectivas e personalizadas.
La USC tiene un programa de alumnos tutores para las titulaciones de grao, de forma que alumnos de últimos cursos, despues de una formación que les facilita la Universidad, realizan tareas de orientación a los alumnos que inician los estudios.

Cuando se produzca la suspensión de un Título oficial, la USC garantiza el adecuado desarrollo efectivo de las enseñanzas que hubieran iniciado sus estudiantes hasta su finalización. Para ello, el Consejo de Gobierno aprueba los criterios relacionados, entre otros, con:
• La admisión de matrículas de nuevo ingreso en la titulación.
• La supresión gradual de la impartición de la docencia.
• Si el título extinguido es sustituido por otro similar (modificando la naturaleza del título), fija las condiciones que facilitan a los/las estudiantes la continuidad de estudios en el nuevo título y las equivalencias entre las materias de uno y otro plan.

The Faculty of Business Administration and Management is located in a modern, functional building adapted for disabled people.
The spaces dedicated to teaching are 8 large theatre classrooms, 4 computer rooms and 4 seminars. All of them are equipped with a computer, digital whiteboard and video projector, and have the technical means necessary for streaming.
Among the spaces for the use of the students, the reading room and the group work room stand out, with capacity for 40 students each. It should also be noted that the Biblioteca Intercampus (library of the Lugo Campus) is located only a few meters away from the Faculty, with more than 1600 reading seats among 9 rooms, including a group workroom.
The building has also a Main Room (Aula Magna) and an assembly hall with capacity for 240 and 91 people respectively, well suited for workshops, conferences, etc . It also has a meeting room prepared for videoconferences with capacity for 30 people.
Fast internet access is guaranteed in all areas of the building, both by cable and by Wi-Fi.
Finally, it should be noted that the Faculty has a cafeteria and dining room service with regulated prices.

Que los estudiantes hayan demostrado poseer y comprender conocimientos en un área de estudio que parte de la base de la educación secundaria general, y se suele encontrar a un nivel que, si bien se apoya en libros de texto avanzados, incluye también algunos aspectos que implican conocimientos procedentes de la vanguardia de su campo de estudio;

La movilidad de los/as estudiantes está regulada a través del “Reglamento de intercambios interuniversitarios”. Reconocimiento de créditos optativos por realización de prácticas externas hasta un máximo de 6 créditos
El Trabajo de Fin de Grado tendrá 6 créditos y para formalizar la matrícula de este Traballo el alumnado podrá tener pendientes como máximo 75 ECTS para completar los estudios, excluídos los correspondientes al Trabajo.
The Transition Year is intended for those Graduated in Business Studies from the University of Santiago de Compostela and it has the same structure as the 4th year in the Degree of Business Administration and Management: a workload of 60 ECTS credits divided between the two terms; in the first term it is expected to be taken 18 credits of mandatory content and 13,5 optionals, and in the second term it is expected other 22,5 credits of optional content and the end-of-degree project having a workload of 6 credits.

The Degree in Business Administration and Management explores the way in which the companies acquire and use the resources which are in their disposal, in order to achieve particular goals and objectives. Therefore, it handles the way in which the resources, processes and results from their activities are managed.
Business Administration and Management’s Degree seeks the formation of professionals, who can be able to accomplish management works and counselling in public and private organizations. These works can be developed in the global sphere from the organization or any of its application areas: production, human resources, financing, marketing, investment, administration or accounting.
Taking into account the peculiarity of the different functional areas of organizations, the graduate should gain the knowledge needed in order to manage and organization at a global scale. Specifically, he or she should know how to identify and anticipate opportunities, assign resources, organize information, select and inspire people, make decisions, reach the proposed targets and evaluate results.

Tienen preferencia para iniciar estudios de Administración y Dirección de Empresas aquellos alumnos que superaron las pruebas de acceso con las vías de acceso del bachillerato LOGSE número 1 (Científico-Tecnológica), 2 (Ciencias de la Salud) y 4 (Ciencias Sociales).
Dado que no existen otros requisitos formativos previos esigibles, sería deseable que el futuro estudiante del Grado en ADE poseyera las siguientes características personales y académicas:

1.- El alumnado de primer curso por primera vez a tiempo completo tienen que matricular 60 créditos. Un 15% del alumnado podrá cursar estudios a tiempo parcial (30 créditos).
2.- Continuación de estudios: libre con un máximo de 75 créditos
La tutorización de los estudiantes universitarios es uno de los compromisos de los estudios de Grado dentro del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior (EEES). Consiste en varias actividades, colectivas e personalizadas.
La USC tiene un programa de alumnos tutores para las titulaciones de grao, de forma que alumnos de últimos cursos, despues de una formación que les facilita la Universidad, realizan tareas de orientación a los alumnos que inician los estudios.

Cuando se produzca la suspensión de un Título oficial, la USC garantiza el adecuado desarrollo efectivo de las enseñanzas que hubieran iniciado sus estudiantes hasta su finalización. Para ello, el Consejo de Gobierno aprueba los criterios relacionados, entre otros, con:
• La admisión de matrículas de nuevo ingreso en la titulación.
• La supresión gradual de la impartición de la docencia.
• Si el título extinguido es sustituido por otro similar (modificando la naturaleza del título), fija las condiciones que facilitan a los/las estudiantes la continuidad de estudios en el nuevo título y las equivalencias entre las materias de uno y otro plan.
Access to Bachelor’s Degree programmes is granted to students with the following degrees/ diplomas or studies, or any other recognized as equivalent to these:
A.1. Spanish Bachiller, European Baccalaureate or International Baccalaureate.
A.2. Baccalaureate from European Union Member States’ education systems or other countries withinternational agreements.
A.3. Advanced Technician in Vocational Training, Advanced Technician in Plastic Arts and Design orAdvanced Technician in Sports Education, from the Spanish Education System.
A.4.Studies carried out in European Union Member States or in other countries with international reciprocal agreements which meet the academic requirements in those States to access their university study programmes.

The Faculty of Business Administration and Management is located in a modern, functional building adapted for disabled people.
The spaces dedicated to teaching are 8 large theatre classrooms, 4 computer rooms and 4 seminars. All of them are equipped with a computer, digital whiteboard and video projector, and have the technical means necessary for streaming.
Among the spaces for the use of the students, the reading room and the group work room stand out, with capacity for 40 students each. It should also be noted that the Biblioteca Intercampus (library of the Lugo Campus) is located only a few meters away from the Faculty, with more than 1600 reading seats among 9 rooms, including a group workroom.
The building has also a Main Room (Aula Magna) and an assembly hall with capacity for 240 and 91 people respectively, well suited for workshops, conferences, etc . It also has a meeting room prepared for videoconferences with capacity for 30 people.
Fast internet access is guaranteed in all areas of the building, both by cable and by Wi-Fi.
Finally, it should be noted that the Faculty has a cafeteria and dining room service with regulated prices.
Training of professionals who are able to performmanagement tasks, counselling and evaluation in productive organizations. These tasks can be developed at the global level of the organization or any of its functional areas: production, human resources, finance, marketing, investment, management or accounting.
Graduates must know the normal development of thesefunctional areas within the overall objectives of the company and other organizations in the global context of the economy and must be able to contribute with their activity to the good performance and to the progress of their results. Specifically, graduates must be able to identify and anticipate opportunities, allocate resources, organize information, select and motivate people, make decisions, achieve objectives and evaluate results

Mobility
La movilidad de los/as estudiantes está regulada a través del “Reglamento de intercambios interuniversitarios”. A través de la Oficina de Relaciones Exteriores se gestionan programas de intercambio tanto nacionales (SICUE), como europeos (ERASMUS) y extracomunitarios (intercambios con países de América Latina o países de habla inglesa):

Reconocimiento de créditos optativos por realización de prácticas externas hasta un máximo de 6 créditos
El Trabajo de Fin de Grado tendrá 6 créditos y para formalizar la matrícula de este Traballo el alumnado podrá tener pendientes como máximo 75 ECTS para completar los estudios, excluídos los correspondientes al Trabajo.
The Transition Year is intended for those Graduated in Business Studies from the University of Santiago de Compostela and it has the same structure as the 4th year in the Degree of Business Administration and Management: a workload of 60 ECTS credits divided between the two terms; in the first term it is expected to be taken 18 credits of mandatory content and 13,5 optionals, and in the second term it is expected other 22,5 credits of optional content and the end-of-degree project having a workload of 6 credits.
