The extraordinary wealth and productive potential of forests nationwide, and in particular in the Autonomous Community of Galicia, and their importance for the economy and rural development in the region, demand experts in this speciality, with the mission to defend and make the most of, in a sustainable way (according to environmental, social and economic criteria) the very different products and services that can be generated by forests, and to optimise their processing.
Recognition of credits:
Up to 21 credits can be recognised for work experience and non-official studies (own qualifications, specialisation courses, etc.).

Material resources
The centre has 18 general purpose classrooms, 6 seminar rooms and 6 computer labs for teaching. It also has 18 laboratories and 8 workshops, 2 graphic expression classrooms, 1 topography seminar. We can highlight the existence of a practice farm attached to the centre to be used by qualifications linked to agricultural and forestry area.
Among the areas designated for students, it has a computer room with free access, with wireless connection from anywhere in the centre.
The Library Service of the Lugo University Campus is centralised in a single building called Inter-Centre Library located next to the centre where students have more than 1600 consultation stations, distributed over 9 rooms including a room for group work.

La movilidad de los/as estudiantes está regulada a través del “Reglamento de intercambios interuniversitarios”. A través de la Oficina de Relaciones Exteriores se gestionan programas de intercambio tanto nacionales (SICUE), como europeos (ERASMUS) y extracomunitarios (intercambios con países de América Latina o países de habla inglesa):
Al amparo del art. 12.6 del RD 1393/2007, en esta titulación, los/as estudiantes podrán obtener reconocimiento académico hasta un máximo de 6 créditos optativos por la realización de prácticas externas relacionadas con el título.
Final Degree Project
El Trabajo Fin de Grado podrá presentarse y defenderse cuando el alumnado tenga superados todos los demás créditos necesarios para la obtención del título, es decir, 228 ECTS. Se trata de un ejercicio original que se debe realizar individualmente y presentar y defender ante un tribunal universitario, consistente en un proyecto en el ámbito de las tecnologías específicas de la Ingeniería Forestal de naturaleza profesional en el que se sinteticen e integren las competencias adquiridas en las enseñanzas del grado.

The centre has 18 general purpose classrooms, 6 seminar rooms and 6 computer labs for teaching. It also has 18 laboratories and 8 workshops, 2 graphic expression classrooms, 1 topography seminar. We can highlight the existence of a practice farm attached to the centre to be used by qualifications linked to agricultural and forestry area.
Among the areas designated for students, it has a computer room with free access, with wireless connection from anywhere in the centre.
The Library Service of the Lugo University Campus is centralised in a single building called Inter-Centre Library located next to the centre where students have more than 1600 consultation stations, distributed over 9 rooms including a room for group work.

Que los estudiantes hayan demostrado poseer y comprender conocimientos en un área de estudio que parte de la base de la educación secundaria general, y se suele encontrar a un nivel que, si bien se apoya en libros de texto avanzados, incluye también algunos aspectos que implican conocimientos procedentes de la vanguardia de su campo de estudio;

Specific skills

Mobility
La movilidad de los/as estudiantes está regulada a través del “Reglamento de intercambios interuniversitarios”. A través de la Oficina de Relaciones Exteriores se gestionan programas de intercambio tanto nacionales (SICUE), como europeos (ERASMUS) y extracomunitarios (intercambios con países de América Latina o países de habla inglesa):
Al amparo del art. 12.6 del RD 1393/2007, en esta titulación, los/as estudiantes podrán obtener reconocimiento académico hasta un máximo de 6 créditos optativos por la realización de prácticas externas relacionadas con el título.
El Trabajo Fin de Grado podrá presentarse y defenderse cuando el alumnado tenga superados todos los demás créditos necesarios para la obtención del título, es decir, 228 ECTS. Se trata de un ejercicio original que se debe realizar individualmente y presentar y defender ante un tribunal universitario, consistente en un proyecto en el ámbito de las tecnologías específicas de la Ingeniería Forestal de naturaleza profesional en el que se sinteticen e integren las competencias adquiridas en las enseñanzas del grado.
