Summary
This final degree project aims to explore the potential of children's literature as an educational resource to promote environmental education among Primary Education students. The need to form conscious, critical, and environmentally committed individuals arises from the current context of ecological crisis. Primary school is a key stage to foster responsible attitudes and sustainable habits by understanding the impact of human actions and the importance of preserving natural resources. To achieve this objective, a didactic proposal is presented, consisting of seven sessions that integrate content from the areas of Natural Sciences and Language and Literature, with an interdisciplinary approach focused on topics such as responsible consumption, pollution, and waste management. Children's literature, especially picture books and stories, is the backbone of the proposal, as it brings these issues closer to students in a meaningful and accessible way. Based on the stories read, the proposal includes hands-on and experiential activities that promote active learning, encouraging critical thinking and the application of concepts to daily life.
