The Degree in Business Management aims to train professionals who are capable of performing management advisory and evaluation tasks in productive organisations. Tienen preferencia para iniciar estudios de Administración y Dirección de Empresas aquellos alumnos que superaron las pruebas de acceso con las vías de acceso del bachillerato LOGSE número 1 (Científico-Tecnológica), 2 (Ciencias de la Salud) y 4 (Ciencias Sociales).

Dado que no existen otros requisitos formativos previos esigibles, sería deseable que el futuro estudiante del Grado en ADE poseyera las siguientes características personales y académicas:

- Interés por la realidad económica y sus implicacións para el mundo de la empresa
- Compromiso social
- Capacidad analítica
- Capacidad de adaptación a un entorno cambiante y competitivo
- Competencias lingüísticas en castellano y gallego
- Empleo de herramientas informáticas básicas

1.- El alumnado de primer curso por primera vez a tiempo completo tienen que matricular 60 créditos. Un 15% del alumnado podrá cursar estudios a tiempo parcial (30 créditos).
2.- Continuación de estudios: libre con un máximo de 75 créditos

La Facultad cuenta con la colaboración de varios profesores/as que actúan como coordinadores académicos, y cuya función es tutorizar y asistir en sus decisiones académicas a los estudiantes propios y de acogida.

La USC tiene un programa de alumnos tutores para las titulaciones de grao, de forma que alumnos de últimos cursos, despues de una formación que les facilita la Universidad, realizan tareas de orientación a los alumnos que inician los estudios.

Cuando se produzca la suspensión de un Título oficial, la USC garantiza el adecuado desarrollo efectivo de las enseñanzas que hubieran iniciado sus estudiantes hasta su finalización. Para ello, el Consejo de Gobierno aprueba los criterios relacionados, entre otros, con:
• La admisión de matrículas de nuevo ingreso en la titulación.
• La supresión gradual de la impartición de la docencia.
• Si el título extinguido es sustituido por otro similar (modificando la naturaleza del título), fija las condiciones que facilitan a los/las estudiantes la continuidad de estudios en el nuevo título y las equivalencias entre las materias de uno y otro plan.

Access to Bachelor’s Degree programmes is granted to students with the following degrees/ diplomas or studies, or any other recognized as equivalent to these:
A.1. Spanish Bachiller, European Baccalaureate or International Baccalaureate.
A.2. Baccalaureate from European Union Member States’ education systems or other countries withinternational agreements.
A.3. Advanced Technician in Vocational Training, Advanced Technician in Plastic Arts and Design orAdvanced Technician in Sports Education, from the Spanish Education System.
A.4.Studies carried out in European Union Member States or in other countries with international reciprocal agreements which meet the academic requirements in those States to access their university study programmes.
A.5. Official Spanish university degrees of Diplomado, Arquitecto Técnico, Ingeniero Técnico, Licenciado, Arquitecto, Ingeniero, Graduado or Máster Universitario.
A.6. Partial (foreign or Spanish) university studies.
Access to Bachelor’s Degree programmes is also possible for:
B.1. People over twenty-five after successfully passing a specific access test.
B.2. People over forty with work or professional experience related to a university field of knowledge.
B.3. People over forty-five after successfully passing a specific access test.
Likewise, access to Bachelor’s Degree programmes is granted to:
C.1. People meeting the requirements to enter university according to the Spanish Education System regulations prior to Ley Orgánica 8/2013, of December 9.

The Faculty has 37 classrooms for theoretical teaching-seminar, with capacity from 25 to 500 seats and 7 computer rooms for teaching, with a total of 120 computers.

Among the areas designated for students, the centre has a computer room that are free to use and equipped with computers, 3 workrooms for students, two study lounges and a collaborative workspace.

We can also highlight that wireless Internet connection is available everywhere in the Faculty.

The library serves students from grades in Economics and Business Administration. Its space is distributed over three floors and has over 340 reading stations.

Training of professionals who are able to performmanagement tasks, counselling and evaluation in productive organizations. These tasks can be developed at the global level of the organization or any of its functional areas: production, human resources, finance, marketing, investment, management or accounting.

Graduates must know the normal development of thesefunctional areas within the overall objectives of the company and other organizations in the global context of the economy and must be able to contribute with their activity to the good performance and to the progress of their results. Specifically, graduates must be able to identify and anticipate opportunities, allocate resources, organize information, select and motivate people, make decisions, achieve objectives and evaluate results

1. La formación de profesionales que sean capaces de desempeñar labores de gestión, asesoramiento y evaluación en las organizaciones productivas. Estas labores se pueden desarrollar en el ámbito global de la organización o en cualquiera de sus áreas funcionales: producción, recursos humanos, financiación, comercialización, inversión, administración o contabilidad.
2. El graduado o graduada debe conocer la articulación del normal desarrollo de todas estas áreas funcionales con los objetivos general de la empresa y otras organizaciones, en el contexto global de la economía y estar en condiciones de contribuir con su actividad al bueno funcionamiento y al avance de sus resultados. En concreto, debe saber identificar y anticipar oportunidades, asignar recursos, organizar la información, seleccionar y motivar a las personas, tomar decisiones, alcanzar objetivos propuestos y evaluar resultados.

To have and to understand the knowledge that define Business Administration and Management as a scientific discipline, including their theories, history, methodologies, techniques and areas of application, to a level that leans on the newest publications and also including some the most relevant aspects that are current and innovative in the field of knowledge.
2. To be able to elaborate and defend their arguments about economical questions to a general level, as well as to be able to solve these questions to a certain extent.
3. To be able to identify, gather and interpret relevant data about questions related to the business area.
4. To be able to communicate information, ideas and proposition for problem-solving in the business area, both for an expert audience and for a non-specialised one.
5. To have the general knowledge and skills to be able to learn and continue study in an independent way.
6. To approach their professional activity from a respectful point of view and promote the fundamental rights of the staff.

1. Gestionar y administrar una empresa u organización, entendiendo su localización competitiva e institucional e identificando sus fortalezas y debilidades.
2. Integrarse en cualquiera la are funcional de una empresa u organización y desempeñar con soltura cualquier labor de gestión.
3. Valorar a partir de los registros relevantes de información a situación y previsible evolución de una empresa.
4. Emitir informes de asesoramiento sobre situaciones concretas de empresas y mercados.
5. Redactar proyectos de gestión global o de áreas funcionales de la empresa.
6. Identificar las fuentes de información económica relevante y su contenido.
7. Derivar de los datos información relevante imposible de reconocer por no profesionales.
8. Usar habitualmente la tecnología de la información y las comunicaciones en todo el suyo desempeño profesional.
9. Aplicar al análisis de los sus más y sus menos, criterios profesionales basados en el manejo de instrumentos técnicos.
10. Comunicarse con fluidez en su entorno y trabajar en equipo.

Mobility

La movilidad de los/as estudiantes está regulada a través del “Reglamento de intercambios interuniversitarios”. El trabajo de Fin de Grado tendrá 6 créditos y sólo podrá inscribirse una vez superados 150 créditos, entre ellos, todos los de la primera mitad de la titulación.

It is considered that compulsory and elective subjects of Diplomas in Business Studies from the University of Santiago de Compostela are enough to prove the competences and knowledge established for three first courses of degree in Business Management.

The Bridge Course is intended for Diplomas in Business Studies from the University of Santiago de Compostela and has the same structure as the 4th year of the Degree in Business Management: a load of 60 ECTS credits distributed into 2 four-month terms; in the first 18 compulsory and 13.5 elective credits will be studied and in the second 22.5 elective credits and the Final Year Project with a load of 6 credits.
